The ceremony will be at St. Francis Chapel, which is located in Balboa Park, across from the Museum of Us. The address of the chapel is : 1350 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101.

The reception will be in the Treetops Room inside the San Diego Zoo. The address of the San Diego Zoo is 2920 Zoo Dr, San Diego, CA 92101. Once you enter the Zoo, there will be directional signage that reads "McCrea Picnic", which will lead to the Treetops room.

There is free parking in front of the San Diego Zoo, and all around Balboa Park. Parking is difficult in Balboa Park/the Zoo, so once you find a parking spot for the ceremony, we recommend you don't move your car to go to the reception.

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

The best way to get to the Zoo from St. Francis Chapel would be to walk. It is about a 15 - 20 minute walk. You can also move your car from a Balboa Park parking lot, and move it to the Zoo parking lot. Since it will be a Saturday, that isn't recommended as the Zoo will get busy by 11:30am when the reception starts. The Zoo parking lot should be pretty open in the morning prior to the ceremony beginning, though.

Our wedding dress code is summertime casual. Sundresses and casual button-ups are perfect. Most importantly - wear comfortable shoes! You'll be walking around the zoo, so skip the heels and dress for comfort.

Lunch and drinks will be provided during the reception.

Please arrive at the chapel at 10:00 am to get seated and sign the guest book. Chapel doors close at 10:30 am. The ceremony begins promptly at 10:30 am. The reception at the Treetops room will begin at 11:30 am, and end at 2:30 pm. You are welcome to stay in the Zoo till close after the reception.
